Why is it SO difficult to remember to type my new password in?

This morning, my computer prompted me to update my password - which has got to be one of the most annoying notifications/orders/directions a computer can give first thing in the morning. I'm sort of habit-driven, and this becomes the most clear to me in situations such as these.

Considering the omni-presence of product packaging, it’s only natural a company would spend years, sometimes centuries, perfecting this critical marketing medium. Last week, I had the opportunity to visit London’s Museum of Brands, Packaging and Advertising in Notting Hill. Though not a large space, this non-profit cultural body has a well curated collection of consumer products spanning many industries.

As I admired 120 years of commercial package design showcased through a labyrinth of well-lit cases, 3 thoughts stuck with me.

Top 5 | Favourite Instagram Profiles Right Now

Instagram is great. I tried to give up social media on Sundays, as part of a long list of very aggressive New Year resolutions. Unfortunately, Instagram is so ingrained in my muscle memory that I found myself on it and scrolling before my mind caught up to scream "NOOOOOOOOOO" - and by then it was way too late to close the app (obviously.). Waiting for the streetcar, waiting for the elevator, waiting in the elevator, waiting for my boyfriend to tie his sneakers, my days are apparently full of waiting - and full of prime Instagram time.
